Emily Hines graduated in 2021 from the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver and is licensed to practice law in Colorado. She established her law firm in 2022 to better serve the community and help others find stability and purpose.

Emily has a lifelong love for animals. She believes helping people keep their pets is essential to preserving their well-being and independence. Throughout her time in Colorado, she has pursued her interest in education and outreach involving the pet owner’s legal rights and socially conscious sheltering for homeless pets. She works to solve landlord/tenant issues, protect service animal and ESA rights, and assist pet owners in complying with city and county ordinances.

Emily has an M.B.A. from Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, Oklahoma, and a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Writing from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith. She volunteers at the Dumb Friends League in Denver. Her family includes an 11-year-old rescue dog, Lady, that she adopted in rural Arkansas. Lady has traveled across the country as her ESA, supporting her career and life transitions.
